Dear Parent,

Registration for Spring Break Driver's Education Classes opens Friday, February 23, 2024 at 12:00 NOON EST. Visit our website for more information, or reply to this email for questions not answered by the website.
 

Classes at West, South, and North Brunswick High Schools will be opening soon for Spring and Summer. Schedules can be found online. 


Registration for the following classes opens Friday, February 23 at 12:00 NOON.  
  • 2024 Class 007 – For Homeschooled Students and Early College High School students
    • Location: Brunswick Community College (Bolivia, NC)
    • March 18-22, 2024
    • Monday – Friday, 8:00-2:00
    • Students must be born on or before 9/18/2009
  • 2024 Class 008 – Available for ALL Brunswick County students – Morning Session
    • Location: The COAST (Bolivia, NC)
    • April 1-5, 2024
    • Monday – Friday, 8:00-2:00
    • Students must be born on or before 10/1/2009
  • 2024 Class 009 – Available for ALL Brunswick County Students – Evening Session
    • Location: The COAST (Bolivia, NC)
    • April 1-5, 2024
    • Monday – Friday, 3:00-9:00
    • Students must be born on or before 10/1/2009

Student Eligibility

  • Students must meet the age requirements for the class. Should a student not meet the age requirements but sign up for a class anyway, said student will be removed from the class roster. 
  • Students must be mentally ready to complete the required classwork for Driver's Education. Driving is a privilege, not a right! If the student is not ready to participate in classroom or behind-the-wheel instruction, they should not be registered.
  • Students must be enrolled in a public, private, charter, or registered homeschool in Brunswick County. Students enrolled in a private or charter school in a bordering county or state are not eligible for Brunswick County Driver Education.
  • Students may not have enrolled and partially completed any public driver education program before.

 Directions for Signing Up for Classes: 

  1. Go to BensonDrivingSchool.com/Brunswick on Friday at or before 12:00 NOON.
  2. Select the class you would like to sign up for. Registration is strictly on a first come first serve basis. 
  3. Fill out the form with the correct information.
  4. Click "Submit". Registration is not completed until you see a green message indicating successful form submission.
  5. Follow the directions to make payment.
  6. (If applicable) Send credit card payment receipt to bcspayments@bensondrivingschool.com .
If your student will not be able to attend any of the scheduled classes, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THESE CLASSES. Instead, you must wait for new classes to open. See the class opening schedule on our website. 

Students will not be admitted into any class where registration and payment have not been completed.
